This stylish group of young people at the 1967 March of Dimes car wash in Van Nuys features a driver with an altitude defying chignon.
It is unlikely that these well dressed scrubbers are actually washing the car. This is probably a posed photo: an example of photographic artifice in the pre-digital age.
Why not? may be they washing their own car before some party?
