NORTH HOLLYWOOD – A man was rushed to a local hospital Friday night after he was hit by two bullets in an apparent car-to-car shooting, police said.
The victim’s condition was not immediately available.
At about 10:15 p.m., the victim – a Latino man – was shot by three black men in a sport-utility vehicle near the intersection of Magnolia Boulevard and Riverton Avenue, said Officer Ben Ellis of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police were not sure whether the cars were moving or parked when the shots were fired, nor was a motive immediately apparent.
Officers are searching for three black men in a black Cadillac Escalade with tinted windows.
Anyone with information may contact the LAPD’s North Hollywood Division at 818-623-4016.
