Ignoramus that I am, I cannot say that I am familiar with the work of 17th Century French satirist, playwright and actor Molière. But he apparently made good use of crucifying, on stage, both the powerful and the religious leaders of France.

Our modern world suffers too from the same mystical madmen that have always impeded human progress, political and personal freedom, and intellectual growth. So it quite timely that a new operatic production, performing in Pasadena, has updated the location from France to present day Van Nuys.
