Marjorie Vander Hoff was the hostess at her beautiful art deco ranch in Lake Balboa.

She performed several numbers at her party including “Lola”. Food was pot luck. I brought chicken in calvados and cream sauce.

There were many folks from Modcom as well as the car club. Quite a few were dressed up in vintage clothes.

Marjorie prefers to stop the clock at 1943. Her kitchen is full of restored 1930’s appliances and is exquisitely functional and stylish. Her boyfriend, naturally, is a vintage clothing dealer.

2007 arrived in sepia tones set to a Benny Goodman tune.
