    Oh man the Sopranos has been great hasn’t it? So dark. I think some of the metaphors in the show highlight the modern deterioration of our country, which is a very interesting subject to me and in that way I enjoy the Sopranos like I enjoy your blog. The final episode will be titled “Made in America.”

    I have to say I think Tony must die next week. The show is so pure, the main advantages of a TV show as a movie are more time and freedom, neither of which the Sopranos needs. I read somewhere that Gandolfini says he has taken the character as far as he is willing or able to. Also, Tony has to suffer for his sins, he has to, it’s the only way the series will feel complete and whole in my opinion. I think the writing of the show has been engineered to that end these last two seasons, making Tony unlikable and deconstructing the world they built over six seasons; by the time it ends next week it will feel… proper.

    What a great show.
