This is what has transpired in the Sherman Oaks/Van Nuys areas since five days ago as reported in the Daily News:

1. SHERMAN OAKS – A Los Angeles man was shot to death this morning on the Ventura Freeway in a car-to-car shooting that had police baffled and turned the 101 into a parking lot.

About 8:15 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received a call of a car flipped over on the 101 near Van Nuys Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they determined that the white sedan had drifted into the sound wall, then veered across all eastbound lanes and rolled over, said Cecil Manresa of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

2. Four people were wounded Saturday in four separate shootings in the San Fernando Valley, including three shot within one hour, police said.

In North Hollywood, a worker at an auto-detailing business in the 11000 block of Magnolia Boulevard was shot about 4:15 p.m. police said.

“An employee of F1 Motorsport was working on a car to the rear of the location when a man approached and fired some rounds, striking him in the upper torso,” said Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Ben Alonso.

The suspect drove away in a Volvo or an Audi, police said. The wounded worker, a man in his late 20s, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

3. Fifteen minutes later, again in North Hollywood, a young man was shot by two gang members who approached him as he was walking down the 12000 block of Vanowen Street, police said.

“The victim was hit up with the traditional, `Where you from?”‘ Alonso said about the gang challenge.

“He said `from nowhere,’ and I guess they didn’t like that particular place. They shot the victim in the upper back as he turned to run.”

He was taken to an area hospital in stable condition, Alonso said. The suspects are described as two male Latinos, 17 to 18 years old.

4. SHERMAN OAKS – A man was shot outside of a pizza parlor in an apparent drive-by shooting late Friday, authorities said.

The shooting was reported at about 10:20 p.m. near Ventura and Van Nuys boulevards, and police were searching for suspects, Los Angeles Police Officer Jason Lee said.

5. And earlier in Van Nuys, a man was hit twice in the upper torso by gunfire in a drive-by shooting about 3:30 p.m. in the 16000 block of Roscoe Boulevard, said Officer Sara Faden, LAPD spokeswoman.
